Guide to Enrolment

Key dates and information for new students

Setting you up for academic success

We invest time in setting all our students up for academic success, which begins at enrolment. To help you get ready for this, we have outlined the steps you need to take once you have received your GCSE results as well as some important information about your enrolment appointment.

Step One – GCSE Results Day

Step one of enrolment involves you securing your place at Ö±²¥Ë«·É’s.

On GCSE results day, Thursday 22nd August, you must email your GCSE results to the College by 1.00pm. This should be an official document with your name and have the school name or logo clearly visible e.g. a PDF, a scan or a clear photograph of your results slip taken on your phone. You will receive an email on Tuesday 20th August with clear instructions and an email address to submit your results.

Once we have your GCSE results we can confirm your place at the College.

Step Two – Your Enrolment Appointment

Step two of enrolment will take place after GCSE results day. We enrol over a three-day period in order that all families have the time and space to comfortably consider options. You will be given an enrolment appointment on one of the following days:

  • Tuesday 27th August
  • Wednesday 28th August
  • Thursday 29th August

Parents are actively encouraged to attend enrolment, as we recognise they play a vital role in the success of students.

During your enrolment appointment, you will meet with teachers to discuss your subject choices and confirm a programme of study that will set you up for academic success.

Three very important things you need for enrolment are:

  • £65 contribution fee which covers your two years at Ö±²¥Ë«·É’s (payable by cash or card)
  • Proof of identity (preferably your passport, alternatively your birth certificate)
  • If you received access arrangements at your previous school or have additional learning needs, please bring evidence that supports this to enrolment. You will have the opportunity to discuss your support needs.

In the meantime, our website has lots of information to help you plan and prepare, including subject information, travel and bursary details and the start of term arrangements.
