Freedom of Information

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) gives a “general right of access” to the recorded information held by ֱ˫’s Sixth Form College (defined as a public authority in the Act). It also outlines any exemptions from that general right of access. The College therefore has a number of obligations that it must meet when responding to requests for information.

If you want to make a request for information, as per the terms and conditions of the Act, then you can do so by contacting:

Data Protection Officer, ֱ˫’s Sixth Form College, Northwich, Cheshire CW9 8AF

If, once you have done this, you feel that the College has not dealt with your request in accordance with the terms and conditions of the FOIA, you can contact in writing:

The Principal, ֱ˫’s Sixth Form College, Northwich, Cheshire CW9 8AF

If you feel that your request and any appeal has not been dealt with by the College in accordance with the FOIA you can then contact the Information Commissioner, an independent organisation who oversees the FOIA. The Commissioner’s address is:

Information Commissioner, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF
